Today we were trying to get Audrey ready for church. We weren't ready to go until she had her blue flower shoes on, her grey dress (she didn't want to wear the one I picked out) her pink necklace and my bracelet, and had her Abby doll and stuffed puppy tucked under each arm.
Oh my goodness, what are we in for???

The good news is that all of the other parents of young kids who saw you walk in with Audrey in her grey dress, blue flowered shoes, necklace, bracelet, Abby, and everything else had EXACTLY the same kind of morning! Pick your battles, right?
