Ahhhhh, bedtime

Why do kids always try to delay bedtime. I have heard parents claim, "my child wants to go to bed, he/she reaches for it every night". I still don't know if I believe them.

Last night, Don had to work late so I did bed time solo. After corralling the girls in Audrey's room for stories, I went to retrieve Emery's favorite teddy bear. This was the scene when I got back: Audrey, bouncing on her bed, oblivious. Emery?
