Bedtime mischief

Emery is a real stinker when it comes to bedtime or nap time. She gets out of bed, wanders, has to go potty, then needs water, then potty again. She requests song after song.

The other night, after about 5 stall tactics and us making trip after trip up to her room, we hear her in the hall again. Don went up to investigate and finds this:



She had chucked her little monkey and shut the door, climbed back into bed, and finally fell asleep.

She has since repeated this several times. One time with me folding the laundry not three feet away. She didn't speak or make eye contact, she just opened her door, stuck her arm out and dropped the offending animal. The shut it again and put herself to bed.

I think we are going to have our hands full with her...
