The big 3!

Emery turned three this week. We had a great birthday celebration. She got a big girl bike, a new pink dress from Nana, MagnaTiles, and an American Girl Doll! She was so excited about all her gifts and continues to grow each day!

One of our latest conversations was at her very favorite lunch spot, Jersey Mike's:

Em: Daddy, those baseball players are skating!

Don: That is a different sport, honey. That is hockey, can you say hockey?

Em: Of course I can.

She may be small, but she is not a little girl. She has a great sense of humor, and a great ear for music. She knows a good song as soon as she hears one and frequently asks me to turn the radio up when she detects a catchy tune in the background. Often I turn it up to realize it is some new hip song that is all the rage.

My oh my, she keeps us entertained!
