Visit with Peter

Recently we had the opportunity to meet Don's brother and his family in Raleigh for a quick visit. We hadn't seen our nephew Peter since November, so we jumped at the chance for a few hours with he and his parents. We can't believe how quickly he's growing!

We enjoyed a nice lunch at one of may favorite Raleigh restaurants - Salsa Fresh. Even though he didn't get to try the salsa - Peter seemed to enjoy his lunch - pears I think. Don and I were amazed at how nicely he sat and ate despite all the distractions. Brett & Jill have worked with him on table manners, and we're witnesses to how much it has paid off! Once we were finished we let Peter out of his chair and he got to climb around on his dad's lap playing with toys while we chatted. He's got the most precious smile!

While I'm not sure he was that interested in the ducks at the park that afternoon- he seemed to have a great time at the playground! Brett and Jill have done an excellent job raising this sweetie - and we're sure they'll do just as well once their second little boy arrives in August. We can hardly wait to meet him too!
