The last few months have been busy for us. Jen finally got that new role and promotion, and while she's a bit busier, she is really enjoying her job these days.
For Thanksgiving and Christmas we travelled to spend the holidays with family. This year we especially enjoyed the holiday season because we had some happy news to share, we will be having a baby this summer. The holiday season was spent getting prepared for the newest little Gardner, We toured several child care options, and picked our top schools. Then we had to make plans for a bigger place.
Since we sold the house last fall, we've been enjoying the simple life living in a one bedroom apartment. We decided we're going to need more space soon, and got a great deal by upgrading to a two bedroom this month. So 2011 started with yet another move, and not a moment too soon. Jen is going through that second trimester growth spurt and it is getting harder and harder to do all the things she's used to. While she helped pack and carry a few small things, that was about it. We somehow got settled in this weekend ahead of "Winter Storm 2011", we got about 4-5" of snow last night and the ice set in today. We are happily stuck in our new place, recouperating, for the next few days it seems. Jen made chili, and we're staying warm in our new place.
