Arringtons & the Aquarium

This past month we were so happy to have a visit from Chris and Stacy. We took advantage of the rainy cold day and headed to the Georgia Aquarium. This is a big attraction in Atlanta and starting next summer, it will get even better with the addition of a penguin habitat and dolphin tank and show. We braved the ACC Tournament crowds and headed into town early on Saturday morning and it was worth it. The crowds only started to get really big as we were ready to go.

We saw sting rays, sunfish, whale sharks, beluga whales and much more. Stacy's photos are better than ours, but here are some of our better shots.

Of course, no trip to town would be complete without a trip to the Taqueria Del Sol, (at least for me) so we managed to sneak that in as well... I think the Arringtons enjoyed it so that was a relief. Mostly because I made Don drive to two different locations on opposite sides of the city because the first location wasn't open on Saturday.

We had a great time and can't wait to see them again soon!

We were watching FoodTV the other night, and Taqueria del Sol was voted one of the best "taco spots" in the nation! Aquarium looks cool...maybe we will get there sometime with the boys.
